TESTIMONIALS

Greetings, fellow travelers!  If you're reading this, it means you're lucky enough to be visiting NC's adventure destination.  We've spend the past week here having the best time, and are excited to pass on some highlights.  If in Helen, GA we definitely recommend the outdoor mini-golf course called "Alpine" for some family fun.  Bonus, if you need to cool down after golfing, the course has a cute ice cream shop called scoop-de-scoop!  For the adventurous, Unicoi State Park has lots to offer from hikes to zip-lining to paddle board/kayak rentals and more.  Nearby Anna Ruby Falls was incredible, too!  Gatinburg, TN  offers the Skylift Park with amazing views.  A major trip highlight for us was visiting the Cottage Vineyard & Winery.  Both kid and dog friendly, this vineyard is rated one of the top 25 vineyards in the whole US and deservedly so!  Beautiful landscaping, outdoor games such as corn-hole, quiet swings to enjoy the breeze, and breathtaking panoramic mountain views make this place a stop well worth the scenic 1 hour drive to Cleveland, GA.  Last but CERTAINLY no least, downtown Murphy's Perrone's Neighborhood Grill has a creme brulee cheesecake with butterscotch sauce that just might be the best dessert on planet earth.  A must try!  Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Rodd & Lori, for the wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.  We hope to be back sometime soon.

Dear Rodd & Lori,  Thank you so much for sharing your lovely mountain cabin with us.  Everything we could possibly need for our stay was provided.  We loved the porches in the morning, with a cup of coffee in hand, the birds singing and NO sounds of traffic- Perfection!  So enjoyed the farmers market Saturday morning in the downtown area of Murphy.  We also we treated with a wonderful craft show in Blairsville.  Also visited McCaysville with a beautiful river and cutest small homes right on the river.  Back to Murphy, two of the restaurants we visited were very good, Parson's Pub and Rib Country.  Yum Yum.  Thank you again.  Hope to be back real soon.     Joe & Barbara, June 19, 2022

Greetings, first off- what a CUTE & COZY cabin.  Thank you for letting us stay and visit!  We found the town of Murphy and its surrounding areas to be quite lovely.  Our first stop was a cute little shop in the Neels Gap area.  If you can stomach Blood Mtn, it is definitely worth the stop.  There is a wonderful waterfall & trail near Fires Creek Recreation Area.  You can climb all the way to the top of the falls if you wish!  If you wish to make the trip to  Chattanooga, I recommend seeing Ruby Falls.  I tis perfect for some family fun.  Beware, it is a cave made for the average sized person.  However, it wasn't a terrible journey for a 6'1" fella.  When it come to whitewater rafting, we have found Carolina Ocoee to be the best company.  If you are an adventurous person, we recommend "Les" as a guide.  He only take "Hero" routes & loves "surfing" the rapids.  When it comes to Helen, we thought Pauls was a cool place for a bite.  It is on the water, so you can watch people float down the river while you eat.  Our last day, we trakked up Panther Top Lookout.  It was an outstanding view all the way around.  We parked in front of the second gate (which stays closed) and walked 19 minutes up the hill.  We were definitely out of breath, but the view at the top was well worth it!  If you are a coffee lover, you must check out Rare Bird Emporium!  It is our go to up here in Murphy.  We hope all visitors to come enjoy their stay and adventures!     Thanks, "DIrtMan" & "Arnold"  I'll be back  Aug. 2022

What an adorable place. Had all the comforts of home but in this peaceful mountain setting.  We enjoyed sleeping in, taking walks and relaxing while listening to the birds.  Had great calzone at Angelo's in Hayesville.  We went to the Murphy roadside flea market on Saturday and saw many cute things.  We also went to the farmers market and Spring Festival in downtown Murphy.  What a great turnout and we met so many friendly people.  Honey Bug BBQ food truck was phenomenal.  Comfort Grub is a good place close by to grab a delicious home-cooking meal.  Valley River Brewery surprised us by offering the best pizza around.  This home has everything one needs to relax and enjoy NC mountains.  5 stars!  Until next time, Daisy & family
